A client onboarding guide for Facebook & Instagram: granting Skyway Media the access we need to keep your pages active, on-brand, and growing.

Why we need this, and why now: to manage and publish content on your Facebook and Instagram pages, Skyway Media needs access to your Meta Business Manager, plus direct login access to your Instagram account. This lets our team schedule posts, publish Stories, engage with your audience, and resolve issues without delays — so your pages stay active from day one.
01 · Before You Start

What you’ll need on hand

The whole process takes about 10 minutes. Before you begin, make sure you have the following ready:

02 · Grant Meta Access

Add Skyway Media in Business Manager

Partner access is the cleanest, safest way to work together: you keep full ownership of your accounts, and you can adjust or remove our access at any time.

Log into Meta Business Manager

  1. Go to business.facebook.com
  2. Log in using your Facebook credentials

Don’t have a Business Manager account? Let us know — we can help you set one up, or walk through an alternate way to grant Page access.

Open Business Settings

  1. From the left-hand menu, click Settings
  2. Navigate to Users → Partners

Add Skyway Media as a Partner

  1. Click Add
  2. Select Give a partner access
  3. Enter Skyway Media’s Business ID (below)
  4. Click Next

Copy and paste this exactly as shown when Meta asks for the partner’s Business ID.

03 · Assign Assets

Grant Full Control of your pages

Assign the following assets to Skyway Media, selecting only what applies to your business. Granting Full Control ensures we can efficiently manage your pages, publish and schedule content, and resolve issues without needing repeated approvals.

Your business Page on Facebook, where posts, Stories, and audience engagement happen.
Access Level: Full Control
Instagram Account
Asset 02
Your business profile on Instagram, connected through Business Manager for publishing and insights.
Access Level: Full Control
You stay in control. Partner access never transfers ownership. Your Business Manager remains yours, and you can review or revoke Skyway Media’s access at any time from the same Partners screen.
04 · Direct Instagram Login

Share your Instagram credentials, securely

Some Instagram features — certain Stories tools, interactive stickers, DM management, and account settings — work best with direct account access, so we’ll also need your Instagram username and password.

Once access is granted and credentials are shared, our team verifies everything on our end, connects your accounts to our publishing tools, and gets your content calendar moving.
